Sean John End Licensee Deal!

Clothing line Sean John have ended their licensee deal with a company named G-III.Licensing means: A Percentage paid for the use of a designer brand name. So Diddy was getting paid for letting manufactures use his Sean John name. It's normal in the fashion industry. Baby Phat Kimora Lee, Jay-z line Rocawear does it to all the time. Reports do say G-III was probly the same company that Rocawear source from because these two used Racoon Dog fur none of the parties had comments of coarse not these are rell animals skin alive ALHA! So SAD but G-III did make a statement. G-II Chairman Morris Goldfarb said "We continue to believe that the Sean Johnbrand will support a siable junior sportswear assortment, despite the opportunity we have reached a mutual decision that the line requires specific operational and financial commitments that would best be made by the Sean John organization."
Combs also made a statment "I would like to thank G-III and their incredible team for all of their work thus far in helping Sean John establish a presence in the women's junior sportswear market and for the continuing excellence of their outerwear effort, but at this time I have decided on another course for its future I look forward to annoucing our plans for this collection very soon." This is known to have been the second attemp of the Sean Jon House to try to come out with a women's line and agian this time it did work out. Maybe Diddy needs a whole new Design Team in the women section. His men's line brings in $450million at retail,
the women market is not dominated and staurated with the exception of Baby Phat and Rocawear the line is carried at Macy's, Dr.Jays.com and Demo. Demo of which will be closing all of it's exsiting stores do to trouble of trying to get the direction right for the Urban Theme store, it just didn't work out.
